Why Choose Source Me It for Bespoke Commissions

1

Exclusive Access to Master Craftspeople

We work directly with master craftspeople in England, Italy, France, Japan and beyond—cabinetmakers, metalworkers, upholsterers, and artisans whose workshops supply luxury brands and royal households. These relationships have been built over years and are not publicly available. You get access to the same craftspeople who create for Hermès, Fortnum & Mason, and Europe's top interior designers—without needing to find, vet, or manage them yourself.

2

Rare Material Access

Through our antique sourcing network, we can source materials unavailable to standard bespoke services: historic timbers, reclaimed metals, vintage textiles, antique hardware, and rare stones. This allows us to create pieces that incorporate genuine heritage materials.

3

Proven Track Record

We have completed bespoke projects for Fortnum & Mason, Peninsula Hotels, Rosewood Hotels, Red Carnation Hotels, Dorchester Hotel, and high-net-worth private clients worldwide. Our work ranges from single statement pieces to complete hotel fit-outs.

4

Single Point of Contact

You work exclusively with Source Me It from start to finish. We handle everything behind the scenes: artisan selection, design development, material sourcing, production oversight, quality control, shipping, customs clearance, and installation. You never need to contact artisans directly—we manage all craftspeople relationships and coordinate across countries on your behalf.

5

Transparent Pricing

No hidden fees. Our proposals break down all costs: artisan fees, materials, our coordination services, shipping, and installation. The price we quote is the price you pay.

6

No House Style

We don't impose a signature aesthetic. Each commission reflects your vision, your space, and your requirements. Our role is to connect you with the right artisan and ensure flawless execution.

How It Works: Our 4-Stage Process

1

Discovery & Consultation

(Weeks 1-2)

What happens:

Initial consultation to understand your requirements, space, budget, and timeline. We discuss design direction, material preferences, and functional needs.

What you receive:

Project brief summary and ballpark budget estimate. We identify the right artisan for your project based on your requirements.

2

Design Development

(Weeks 3-6)

What happens:

We work with our selected artisan to develop detailed designs. You review sketches, technical drawings, material samples, and finish options through us. Designs are refined based on your feedback. All communication goes through Source Me It—you never contact artisans directly.

What you receive:

Final design drawings, material specifications, detailed cost breakdown, and production timeline.

Your decision point:

Approve design and pricing to proceed to production.

3

Production

(Weeks 7-20)

What happens:

Our artisan creates your piece while we oversee production. We provide regular photo updates and handle any adjustments needed. You remain in contact only with Source Me It throughout the entire making process. Complex pieces or specialized techniques may require additional time.

What you receive:

Progress photos, completion notification, and shipping/installation schedule.

3-6 months for standard projects | 6-12 months for complex commissions

4

Delivery & Installation

(Weeks 21-24)

What happens:

Completed piece is inspected, packed, shipped, and installed. For furniture, we arrange white-glove delivery. For architectural elements, we coordinate with your contractors.

What you receive:

Your finished piece, provenance documentation (photos of making process, artisan information, materials used), and care instructions.

Standard timeline is 3-6 months from initial consultation to delivery. Complex projects requiring specialized techniques or rare materials may take 6-12 months. Expedited options are available for certain projects.

Do you work with interior designers?

Yes. Many of our clients are interior designers and architects commissioning pieces for their projects. We provide trade pricing and can work within your project timelines.

Can you match existing furniture or replicate antique pieces?

Yes. Our craftspeople can replicate historic styles, match existing furniture, or create pieces that complement your antique collection.

What if I'm not in the UK?

We ship worldwide and have completed projects for clients in the USA, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. We handle all international shipping, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
