Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Source Me It ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Services Description

Source Me It provides antique and art sourcing services, connecting clients with rare and exceptional pieces through our global network of dealers, auction houses, and private collectors. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing and procurement of antiques and art
  • Market research and valuation guidance
  • Negotiation services
  • Logistics coordination
  • Consultation services

Fees and Payment

Sourcing Fee

A non-refundable sourcing fee of £500-£2,000 (depending on project scope) is required to commence services. This fee covers initial consultation, research, and sourcing efforts.

Commission

Upon successful acquisition of an item, a commission of 15-20% of the purchase price is due. The sourcing fee will be credited against this commission.

Additional Services

The following services are available at additional cost and are not included in standard fees:

  • Detailed condition reports
  • Professional authentication certificates
  • Restoration services
  • Insurance appraisals
  • Expedited shipping

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Authentication and Condition

While we exercise reasonable care in assessing items, we are not professional authenticators or conservators unless explicitly stated. Authentication certificates and detailed condition reports are provided only when specifically requested and paid for as additional services. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding authenticity, condition, or value unless provided in writing as part of a paid authentication service.

Photography and Descriptions

Item photography quality varies depending on source. We provide the best available images, which may include dealer photographs, auction house images, or our own photography. Images are for reference purposes only and may not capture all details or imperfections.

Market Values and Pricing

Fair market value assessments are estimates based on our experience and market knowledge. Actual values may vary. We are not responsible for future changes in market value.

Third-Party Transactions

We act as intermediaries in transactions between clients and sellers. We are not responsible for the actions, representations, or warranties of third-party sellers, auction houses, or dealers.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Source Me It shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content
  • The authenticity, condition, or value of any items sourced
  • Actions or omissions of third-party sellers, dealers, or service providers

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding requirements and budget
  • Make timely decisions on presented options
  • Make payments according to agreed terms
  • Conduct their own due diligence if authentication or condition concerns exist
  • Arrange appropriate insurance for purchased items
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding import/export and ownership of antiques and art

Cancellation and Refunds

The initial sourcing fee is non-refundable once services have commenced. If an item is sourced but the client chooses not to proceed with purchase, the sourcing fee is retained by Source Me It. Commission is only due upon successful completion of a transaction.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Source Me It or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality regarding client projects, budgets, and acquisitions unless disclosure is required by law or authorized by the client.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Source Me It regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
