How We Work

From consultation to white-glove delivery, our proven 6-step process ensures you find the perfect pieces

01

Initial Consultation

We begin with a detailed discussion of your requirements: style, period, budget, dimensions, and intended use. Whether you're furnishing a hotel lobby or seeking a single statement piece—from a Louis XV commode to a Hans Wegner chair, a contemporary sculpture to a bespoke bronze commission—we listen carefully to understand your vision and source across three centuries of design excellence.

  • Complimentary 30-minute consultation
  • Budget and timeline planning
  • Project scope definition
  • Requirements gathering
02

Sourcing & Research

Our team begins the search across our global network: auction houses, private dealers, the Marché aux Puces, trade-only showrooms, and private collections. We leverage relationships built over decades to access inventory others cannot.

  • Access to 60-70% of unlisted inventory
  • Trade-only dealer networks
  • Private collection connections
  • Auction house advance viewings
03

Curation & Proposal

We present a curated selection of 3-5 options that match your criteria. For every piece you select, if requested and paid for, you can receive comprehensive documentation including detailed descriptions (period, style, materials, dimensions, condition), photographs from multiple angles showing construction details and any maker's marks, provenance information and ownership history when available, and our professional assessment of authenticity and condition. For high-value pieces (typically over $10,000), we can arrange formal appraisals from independent certified appraisers at an additional cost. These formal appraisals include detailed condition reports, authentication certificates, and current market valuations suitable for insurance purposes.

  • Photography quality dependent on source
  • Item descriptions and measurements
  • Provenance information (when available)
  • Transparent pricing breakdown
04

Negotiation & Acquisition

Once you've selected your piece, we handle all negotiations on your behalf. Our industry relationships and expertise ensure you get the best possible price. We also coordinate any necessary restoration or customization work.

  • Expert price negotiation
  • Secure payment handling
  • Restoration coordination (if needed)
  • Full documentation and paperwork
05
